fatwood a plenty, but due to hordes of nervous scared jump at the sight of a bug, sheeple city dwellers that infest this area, I could not enjoy the woods and harvest fatwood. I'll be going back at night when the jumpy nervous nellies go home.

on the way out i snag a piece of fatwood anyways. Nothing like an arborist saw to rip thru a standing stump in seconds.

After much cleanup with a saw and knife i got these bits:

You have some awesome woods to wonder in....how far in does B.B. go? Cameras on the whole trail?

no, mostly on the trail entrances near where a jogger was raped and murdered last year. The parks guys plan to install them everywhere though soon, every trail head and trail intersection.

its one reason i dont hike/walk/wander in these areas anymore. Today was an exception as i wanted to scout our some areas to take the GF's crap disturbers on the weekend.

they are there to "document the users of the park". They are angled up slightly and capture hi def torso/facial shots. If you go to the parks HQ they have a rack of hard drive recorders and live video feed monitors.

If documenting the users of the Park can help track down a rapist / murderer, why did you flip them?

they never caught the person. These woods have a high transient population.

We have tons of cameras monitoring us already. I go to the woods to get away from that crap, I DO NOT need to see more cameras where i hike.

its no ones business. They really need to mind their own business and STAY OUT OF MINE.

you might enjoy the intrusion, i do not. Hence the middle finger and mooning of the trail cams.
 
They should set the cameras up on high poles in the parking lots instead, help stop the scum that break into our cars while we are hiking !

due to the hysterical nervous jumpy people that use this area, i could not even break out a SAK, i would have had the RCMP called on me, and due to the events of the previous year they probably would have shot me.

Cameras on the trail would turn me off too. Nice pictures Bushman5, it won't be that green in my parts for another three months or better!
