I love BF, it's not every day you learn that you can pay $1500 for "men's experimental pants". Knowing my luck they'd fail the experiment and disintigrate right in front of a group of girl scouts and I'd then have to register as a sex offender. Best if I stick to my "safety britches". :D

This guy lodged a dispute within a few days of paying me for some Carol Christian Poell pants. I sent him a scanned copy of the tracking receipt and then even met him in person when he came to my city (he's apparently a flight attendant with Singapore Airlines) to talk to him as he "wanted to meet me in person". He said he would end the dispute as soon as he got back to his hotel room. Since that night - over four weeks ago - he has only responded to me once, saying he had dengue fever, but has also taken the paypal case to a claim and got his money refunded as paypal stated the address on the receipt wasn't complete. Despite being able to confirm the number with Australia Post tracking services that it was delivered and signed for.

edit: He now has the CCP pants and the money.

Do not deal with this guy. Googling his name brings up a post on a watch forum where he pulled a similar thing with someone else and also disappeared.

I am kind of with you on this, seems to me he would drop by and clear his name. People forget that part of the MO of online conning is the con artists do solid deals with some or most people and then screw somebody on a deal here and there. He may be legit, but why would I take a chance with him now. Thank you OP for making us aware to consider treading carefully in dealings with that member. I hope he drops by to give his side of things and explain.
 
With regards to this thread, and me getting involved, I have mixed emotions. I'm not sure I belong in it, truthfully. I do know, for sure, is that I'm glad it wasn't closed, by the mods. I think it's important for the truth to come out, no matter what it is.

And yes, clean deals here, a dirty deal there, or over there, who's going to be the wiser? This thread, hopefully, will give folks something extra, to chew on. I might be wrong, but I think this guy's far more clever, and sophisticated, than folks dare to believe. I hope I'm wrong!

Just to be clear, I'm not pointing a finger, at this guy. Personally, I hope that every deal, he does, forward, is clean, and above board.

I think there’s a big misunderstanding here. I thought you were sticking up for @Woodsteel23 and trying to answer questions people had about dealing with him. Sorry for assuming that.

However, your PM to me paints a totally different picture of @Woodsteel23, and really it’s info that needs to be posted ASAP because it’s 100% damning info on why people should not deal with @Woodsteel23. Not sure why you’re holding back, and now I have absolutely no clue why you’d post this review in this thread lol.

^ No need to apologize at all! I didn’t feel like I was being called on it. Just trying to phrase things in a way so that I don’t have to outright spill the beans and get in trouble haha.
 
just did a purchase transaction with him...very fast shipment, good communication, knife is in perfect condition
