I've just seen an IG post regarding Ryan from a respected seller. Then, a well known maker chimed in with a similar horror story. So, I had to come over here as he's been outed on IG and elsewhere. I won't recount it the gory details here unless asked (if it's allowed). Personally, I'd avoid @Woodsteel23 like the plague unless he can come up with a decent excuse. I'm all ears. There's a LOT of respected makers over there on this particular IG post right now that'd love to hear what's up. I've seen too many stories here of professional scammers that rack up feedback points and then start ripping people off, as others rush to their defense.

He's bought two expensive knives of Jeremy Marsh Vanquish and Shirogorov Poluchotky for appropriate price for both, but when he get it open a dispute and a claim that it's not as described, missed parts and so on. I've print all the conversation and made photo of knives with address list before shipping, so I have at least confirmation that I had it before selling. I'm honest seller on BF and even on ebay with 100% feedbacks. So reputation is more important for me when I'm selling and buying something. Strongly don't recommend to deal with Ryan Toh from Singapore!
I was lucky that I didn't accept trade in and sell the knives with paypal as goods..
 
I just wanted to chip in with my experience. I sold Ryan a Mayo about a month and a half ago and the transaction went pretty smoothly and I have no complaints.

He makes legit deals so people will vouch for him and will scam again. Why does he keep changing his usernames on IG and he gets extremely defensive if you ask about his shady past. When I told him I wasn't comfortable making a deal, which he seemed very pushy for, he blocked me and just called me names. I wouldn't deal with this guy.

Still shocked he hasn't been banned from the forums or USN yet.
