Lanyard "villain" skull beads, made by a guy here on BF. I think they look amazing, just search villain beads... He has like a hundred options.

Warrior,

No matter how many YouTube videos I watch, putting bands on the slingshot is very difficult, not sure how you manage with those large mitts of yours. I get them on...but not straight...then I can't hit a bus...
First hard pull yanks them right off... Single bands are easier but still a pain in my butt

Well IM done messing with that for a while

Edit to add: lmao I forgot the question, have you tried tying double bands? Had any issues?...

Well....I struck out at REI. One girl didn't date men and the other had a boyfriend. Still on the hunt I guess. Odds are in my favor if I keep asking tho...
go food shopping at your local grocery store and window shop some ladies, don't like what you see then go to a different spot until you see something you like, then just start going there one a week and say hi every time you see her.... ask her where something is once and awhile, don't just rush in like a horny bat out of hell!!!

I finally got good news from my doc on Friday. He cleared me to get out of my wheelchair & start using a walker. Only 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day but it's a start. I asked when I'll be back to 100% but he wouldn't give me a straight answer at first. He finally said maybe 6 months if everything goes right. So my new goal is back to 100% in 5 months or less.

I was gonna post a pic of me standing but can't quite keep my balance enough to handle the camera without getting dizzy. Maybe that'll be my short term goal. I hate tbeing stuck here at home but I really love the way my family has pulled together to help me & my wife

And in case I haven't already said it, thanks to everyone here for making this my home away from home.

Glad to hear you are making progress, before you know it you will be back to running marathons and such :)

Haven't had to change the bands yet, but I don't think it'll be a problem. I've just made the one tube set for my wife's ss so far. I actually made them with a little bit too tight. Kind of hard to pull back.

Find someone buying ingredients, not shopping the frozen food section. :)

A buddy of mine actually used a dating service (match.com or something like that) and was very specific about having to love nature, hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, hunting and found a great person who he ended up marrying. Not sure I'd be comfortable with that if the need ever arose, but it worked for him.

Hmm, I was cutting up some rhubarb/pie plant with my 14. Part of it is going in the freezer, another part will be made into preserve/jam. Omnomnom. Two weeks ago I cleaned some rhubarb with my grandmother. The day after she invited me over to come and eat some rhubarb sauce with bacon. That was awesome. The combination of the salty bacon and the acidic rhubarb... amazing. Anyway, I digress. The 14 was getting darker and darker with every cut. Lovely. Instead of cleaning it, I'll just let it sit for a while. I'm curious to the final result.

Yea i wanted real powerful bands so i ordered a few sets of hunting bands..... but getting them on and even is no easy task for me

Watching some guy walking up my driveway and the first words out of his mouth is "Hey my man" as I walk over to garage door button and keeping a straight face as door goes down...... Priceless!

cOLD - Thanks for the kind thought. I don't know about marathons. I haven't been much for distance running in a few years. I got bad knees and to be honest I'll be happy if I can get back to hiking 5 miles with my pack. I've always been able to keep my packs under 30 lbs but I might try to adjust that down some this fall.

I think of the woods as a personal man cave in a sense, so for me it would be advantageous to get someone who isn't so absorbed by outdoor activities but one who can 'tolerate' it from time to time, kinda like my wife... :D

most tasty little morsels aren't that into sweating through bushcraft style chores, then again there's always... oh nevermind...
