Can't seem to find a pack I like that's worth a crap these days or look like a team of tac ninjas built it. I like the trizip but it's a bit small for 2-3 dayers. Started looking at old school stuff from duluth and frost river. Everything is either 1500ci or 5000. Ordered the isle jr can't wait to check it out. Should just order an ible setup too and get it over with. small, medium and chopped up body dumping size

Kelty MAP3500, I can easily pull 2-3 days with it.

I've got a Bpp haven't taken it out yet though. Looking to but can't seem to find the time off work when I'm not sick.

Put together a little essentials pouch for my wife. I'm going to swap the large Bic with a mini and a small pen or pencil on the right side. Other than that, I think it covers most of what she would need on any given non-zombie-apocalypse day. It's got a ripstop nylon patch, SAK Classic, Surefire Microstream, hand sanitizer, sewing kit, notebook, lighter, pen, and pad.

Finished my last class of my last course EVER today. This probably means an end to my studying carreer now... An academic bachelor, master and now an advanced master... It's been enough. All work, no fun from now on. After the exams and thesis discussion, that is. A different chapter in the book of my life :)
Feels somewhat strange though

Looks good man. How about Duct tape and band-aids? Duct tape would cover most band-aid problems, but I could see how females wouldn't wanna walk around with duct tape on their cuts.

Good idea. She won't do bandaids for herself, but our son is living in them this summer. The big-freaking knee patch ones are going to be ordered in bulk soon if he keeps jumping out of trees and experimenting with bike jumping.

Congrats!

Congrats shark! From what I've read from you, you really enjoy your field of study, so I imagine work will be quite fun for you. Plus, work pays a lot better than school!

I think I'm interested in too much stuff, you know. Biology, Palaeontology, Archaeology... I give lectures on paleontology, I'm also a Lifeguard and give courses on that subject as well... But I've majored in corporate communications, and now in international relations and diplomcay... Things keep me busy :)

Wow, I just assumed your graduate studies were in palaeontology.. What kind of job will you be looking for? Something in international business?

Paleo is just a hobby that got out of hand a bit, love it to death though but didn't pick those studies because physics or math were not my best grades in high school. Plus, geology or paleontology are, well, niches on the job market to say the least.
Right now I'm applying for a paid internship at the ILO, international labour organization. We'll see how that works out. What will happen next, or instead of that internship if I'm not selected...? Time will tell. I'd love to combine both studies though, communications and politics, so... In the end I'd love to contribute on policy subjects but not as a politician, not in the spotlights. I'd hate that for real. Anyway, I digress. Sorry for typos. I'm on my phone and this thing is tripping b*lls, lol.

Put an ATI Halo heatshield and a UTG rail on the Mossy last night.
I still have my old 878 Automaster with wood furniture to offset the tacticoolness. lol :D

I have an old kabar folder that was given to me and i want to find out more about it---where should i post a thread? kabar or benard levine?
