Anybody have hands on experience with a Kabar Grass Machete? One of my brothers is looking for a good machete & he's leaning toward the Ontario. I'd like to steer him to a Kabar but I've never handled one. His only special requirements are 1. Not made in China & 2. Carbon steel.
I've got a Condor Golok but he wants something more "regular" looking &with a 16 - 18" blade.

I'm pretty sure Biscuit has one.
Send it over, I'll chuck it into the truck with the RBK and go look for things to chop. I haven't found anything to outchop it yet. Even the TTKZ, course that is kind of like hitting a log with a sledgehammer anyway. I need to sell that thing and buy more knives. Hmm nother RBK at auction too.....No no I don't need it.....

Watching that RBK chop is a thing of beauty. Boss has a couple on his property and watching them work is just fun! However for other knife tasks they don't seem quite up to the challenge.
