Been thinking of getting one of those myself. Tradewater has one.

Moose has one too, and I was thinking about one.
I found a St. Croix, four-piece, backpack rod on the bay at a steal though, and I've been happy with it.

Anybody that is going to Blade this weekend be sure to come by table 12AA and see us. If I have not met you personally, be sure to introduce yourselves! Manning the table will be myself and my wife, then alternating with Murph and Diesel D.

G-Shark - thanks for the Marten pic! a friend of mine spent most of a year on a mountainside tracking, observing, and cataloging different sorts of martens in Washington State over here.

You're welcome. That sounds like an interesting research subject. Any idea on the results? What types of Marten occur at the other side of the pond?

Galeo, that is pretty cool actually. I've never even heard of a Marten before.

They're interesting little critters. They don't show up often over here, mostly as roadkill... It was cool to see one alive.

The local grocery store finally got the Sam Adams in a can. Good stuff!! Now if I can just get a Becker Tomahawk and a four door Mustang I will be ready to leave this world.

Sweet, you'll like them. I'll be wearing one of their ID carriers at Blade.

Y'all talking about John at SOE? I've got a flashlight pouch he made. Good stuff. He's from over in Camden, TN--the tactical epicenter of the planet--Jeremy Horton's home town.

My ID carrier is a plain old Maxped, but it has bling.

Damn you. Not sure what I want more, the badge or the bacon.

I run Johns gear too. I'm an alumni of Tactical Response, which is in Camden also. James Yaeger is a wild man lol.

Why the can love?
What's wrong with green or brown glass? Centuries of history there, and it doesn't contaminate anything. And provides an excuse for bottle openers.

John Willis, yep. I've been buying SOE gear for over 10 years, but didn't know they relocated to Camden until a couple years ago. When I was on base at Camp Pendleton you could visit their shop downtown Oceanside. Awesome guys and gear that survives anything! They catch flak from internet haters, but I'll stand by them. They're serious about gear.

Well, here's a quick pic of the booty going to blade. I'm gonna try to post some detailed pics before I actually set up. Headin out to Atlanta tomarrow. Wish me luck. There is 59 blades in this pic, and its about kicked my ass. A years worth of production in less than 5 months. Not only that, I have another 20 various pieces in my shop waiting for final assembly and sheaths. Knives for paitently waiting customers. Just about to get em all caught up. Hoping my life will either get back to a calmer normal. Or a whole new adventure. Who knows. Cheers!
