Worst transaction ever by AK74auto

Posts crossed there; I was writing my post when you posted yours -- doesn't matter, no harm done.

It sounds like there is some possibility of resolving this. With him away it might take a while, but I'm hopeful a little patience could lead to a friendly resolution.
 
Posts crossed again. I see now Lisa is posting. Maybe you can resort to private email now and get somewhere....

You only replied to me once I posted on Bladeforums, but that probably is a coincidence.

What do you mean my knife. Your husband wanted a NIB Derespina Model 10 karambit and I wanted a NIB Ronin. It wasn't my karambit that I sent you it was new sent straight from Rich Derespina, and I told your husband this as well. If I wanted a karambit I would get one from Derespina, but i do not need a karambit.

All I'm out is $103 & ( you can use whatever shipping method so I can send the knife bacK and I will mail it for whatever shipping you wish), because I paid for the karambit and shipping to You from james. I wish you could understand that what NIB meant to collectors, but the biggest that irks me is the communication was stoped by your husband. I am just not happy with this entire experience. The only thing I'm looking for is please take your knife back and send me my money.

I have no ill will towards you or your husband, but stopping communication is not a cool thing to do.
 
I understand about the communication, but I work 12 hours a day and come home and have to take care of two children by myself while my husband is gone. I don't check his emails on a daily basis because frankly I am tired when I get home from work. The only reason I am on here tonight is because I don't want my husbands name smeared when he doesn't have a chance to defend himself.

If it will make you happy, I will take my check at the end of the month and pay you for the knife. I don't get paid until the 1st so it will have to wait until then. I am sorry about the box, because I was the one who shipped it. He was in VA, training then also. He has only been home for 2 weeks in 7 months. He told me to find the box and that was all I could find, I guess I should have told him, but that was my mistake. Since it was my mistake I will take care of it.

I honestly don't care about money, but I don't like getting ripped off.
The box is important to me as a collector, but the biggest thing was the way your husband ended communications.

I want to thank you for your apology and I'm fully satisfied. No need to send me the check I will keep the knife.

Yes, that actually was a coincidence. I tried last night to reply to your email,but apparently I sent it to the wrong place. I didn't realize this until I got an email from the moderator.

I am honestly sorry about the box. He didn't on purposely end the communications he just doesn't have access to the interenet. Trust me if he had access, he would use the internet.

all this over the box? i might have a spyderco ronin PE box i'll give ya if i still have it, i MIGHT have used it to ship another knife in a swap, dont remember, i'll look in the AM & see, ya can have the thing if ya want it if i still have it.

Glad this ended well!
I kinda understand how he wants the knife. I know some guys who despite the fact all their knives are used and abused all the boxes are in mint condition because they want it to.
Ive seen some collectors store the boxes in safes, otterboxes and all that.
