Would like some opinions on this one

Looks great! How do you feel about it? I think you should be proud of it. Now go make another knife.

wow, thanks man! I'm fairly happy with it. I really like my design, just needs refining. Should make a nice little edc

Pretty decent looking knife. Good job!

You learned a bit, I suspect.

One suggestion would be to move the front handle rivet back a bit, and perhaps use two rivets and one lanyard tube.

Another would be to round down the drop in tip instead of making it an angle.

A third would be to shape and finish sand the scales at the ricasso end before installing them. You do that by roughly shaping them ( no need to be exact) to fit the tang, and drilling the rivet/lanyard holes. Then take them off the knife blade and put the pins through the two scales to make the line up. Tape the scales together, and shape and sand the front ends. When done, take off the tape and glue on the scales. Then you can finish shaping them to fit the tang without having to ruin the blade ricasso or leave the front unfinished looking.

I almost always agree with you Stacy, but I kinda like the abrupt angle on the spine. But then, I'm a fan of most "reverse tanto" designs. :)

Thanks you guys. I did shape the scales like you described. But by the time I had them straight and looking right they were way too short . haha Now I need to get up the nerve to sharpen the thing!

Me too. I think it might even look better with more recurve in the spine leading up to that angle. might try that next time.

How much?

I assume you mean how much to buy it. It's not really for sale. I'm flattered that you want to buy it though!! lol This is only my first knife and I want to carry it and field test it for a while. thanks!
