Would you EDC a fixed blade knife?

Simple question....oh, and be sure to vote!

If the answer is "no"...feel free to say why.

If the answer is "yes"....feel free to explain how/where/what knife/etc.

I have been for over a year now, so my answer is yes.

Most recently an Izula.

I would, and I do, everyday. A tanto fixed blade that I wear IWB with a static cord and I actually also have a small push knife too in my pocket.

when not at work i always do--i carry a custom Landi with a awsome sheath made by Leatherman--:D

Not quite sure how to answer this one, Michigan knife laws state that you can only open carry a FB and even then I think you would attract unwanted attention from LE. I would open carry but I get enough people pissing themselves when I pull out my folder so icould only imagine what would happen if I had a FB.
Though If I had it my way i'd always carry a FB.

My wife has this on her keychain every day.

I would if it was legal to carry concealed in CA, but it isn't. I really prefer not to have to carry it openly. This is for regular EDC. For outdoor activity, I wouldn't mind carrying a fixed blade openly, but that doesn't occur very often for me.

Yes. Busse CG ash-1.

Will be carrying it IWB once I get my new sheath for it from buy brown.

Fixed blade > Folder.

That said, my ZT stays with me as well when pulling a large fixed blade would get too many people to look.

I would within legal limits, of course. I have my eye on Dan Ingram's Pocket Hippo.

Used to - but now I don't.

Used to carry a Fallkniven WM1.

Kind regards,

Jos

My job wont even let me bring in a folder much less a Fixed blade but would carry a fixed if allowed,

can't conceal one in Cali.... yet I can openly carry any length knife I want.... makes sense.

If I could conceal, i'd probably pick up something small like an Izula for EDC, and put it into rotation with my folders. Not a big fan of openly carrying a fixed blade unless i'm out in the wilderness, where my Moras or RC3 gets some sheath time.

I want to, but don't know if I'd be allowed to. Can anyone tell me what the laws are? I live in the state of Georgia. I've tried to google this before but I only found a long and somewhat unclear copy of the official law on concealed weapons.

Try asking in Knife Laws.

I prefer carrying a folder for EDC, mainly because of their size and a small traditional folder or SAK doesn't scare people.

I always do. I have more than one depending on the days planned activities. A sub 4" utility drop pt always, a steak knife for food, and a Chopper for outdoorsy stuff.
