People in the Netherlands do not appreciate knives very much. I always EDC (amongst others) a small, non-tactical folder (e.g. SAK; Buck small Parallex; looking out for Ka Bar small Dozier folder) not to evoke fear or agression. Pulling out a fixed blade in a crowd ...

I am currently considering this Boker, though, as it is small and non threatening.

Only allowed to edc folders here, but even if i could i wouldnt.

To this day i havent run into a job that my folder couldnt handle, so why carry something bigger. Im pretty happy with my Spydie slippie.

Yes ,within legal limits.

I am limited to under 4" sharpened edge for EDC by law. I have two customs ,Jk Handmade Knives, that I had made just for edc. One with a 3" blade, the other with a 2 3/4" blade.

Usually I carry concealed,in pocket mostly, sometimes on the belt.

Both are slightly smaller than a BK11.

My RAIDOPS L3JCLAW will be my first fixed blade, depending on the size I'm going to EDC it, should be here in a few weeks.
Otherwise it's a Strider folder.

Used to carry my old CS Tanto and or a Gerber Mark 1 when I lived in a state were it was legal to carry fixed blades concealed.

I usually EDC a folder and a fixed blade. Here are my normal set-ups:
Buck Hartsook or Smidgen in a pocket.
RAT Izula in a neck sheath.
CRKT Dogfish horizontally on my belt.
CRKT Folts Minimalist in my boot.
Mora 510 on my belt.
Ontario SP1 on my belt.
Boker MPT on my belt.
Kabar TDI in an ankle rig.

I EDC not just one, but two fixed blades--a RAT Izula and a TOPS Shango. Among a few others. :)

I do, but not regardless of size. So my choice was not in your poll. I carry a 4-5" fixed blade quite often, in fact always when my clothes allow it. Larger than that becomes really impractical unless I'm wearing a coat, in which case I use a MercHarness.

I dont carry one because they are to bulky in the pocket. I like at least a three and a quarter inch handle, add a three inch blade to that. A folder is just more comfortable. Now when kicking about the woods I usually have two fixed blades and a folder.

I made up a hiking sheath for woods use - with my Surefire E2DL 'Defender', which swapped it's tailcap/switch with my E1b 'Backup' so the Defender would stow in the KSF sheath, and a knife. The Buck Custom Shop 110 fits fine - but the 3.6" Bark River 'Journeyman' is a better fir. The assembly carries well in my cargo pants. I have carried it shopping!

Along with a folder or two (FRP and IWB or BRP), I usually have either an Izula or my little custom wharnie from PML Knives in my front left pocket. On weekends I will sometimes carry my RC-3 in place of the smaller FB. Don't usually carry a FB much bigger than that though.

yes i carry several fixed blades somtimes around 4 sometimes less. I carry a cold steel spike, a kabar TDI, a benchmade instigator and a kabar tdi ldk.

I usually carry a folder but once it gets too cold outside at work to feel my fingers I usually switch over to a fixed blade like a Kabar or Kershaw hunting knife with a three or four inch blade. One day I EDC'd my Kabar USMC but I was chopping down shrubs so I needed it and it was on private property so it wouldn't have really mattered anyway.

Coincidentaly I found a way to completely conceal a full size Kabar USMC in my pocket, to the point that I couldn't see it. :D

Tried it. Too much like hard work. Always digging into my back in the car. Darn bucket seats ya know.....

I would if i didn't own a Sebenza
The Izula has a place in my bag though.

There needs to be an option for "yes, I EDC a fixed blade currently," because plenty of us do (myself included). In the winter, when I'm working outside on the boats in the cold with gloves on, I always have a fixed blade (usually a puukko... imagine that...).

Sometimes I carry a Blind horse FF patch knife - it's a little smaller than the regular patch knife and if you get the neck sheath, it fits really well in a front right pocket.
