would you ever stab someone?

I call in for an artillery strike...
"Foxtrot Bravo Two Tree, this is Tango Alpha One Niner, FireMission, Over!"

But seriously, running and calling the cops is your best bet.

If he was linked to, however tenuously, to anybody who commited a violent crime, I would.
Of course I wouldn't leave his family high and dry...
I would move in to his home and take over as husband and father, and maintain his lucrative grocery store, At least until I found someone suitable to take over for me.
Yes, in the meantime I know that my own family's needs may be neglected but I know I'm keeping them safe.
Yes, as expected I'll meet some resistance by some members of the family, I'll have to put them down too.
I know this sounds crazy and maybe even illegal but if the law won't do anything about it, I will!
Eventually I would let my new wife select her own head of house hold but I'll keep my eye on her choice in case she makes the wrong decision, because of course, I know what's best for the safety of my family.

LOL!! Awesome reply Marcelo! :D

Heck I've stabbed myself enough times, maybe it's time someone else gets it!

:p

Gold Cutter welcome to the forums..that being said..lets begin
1. I think ( unless you can prove it via police report ) that your story is pure Bullshiit..this is the second mall ninja this week.
2. Most of us are responsible knife owners and view our knives as tools and talk about stabbing and other Macho crap is really over the top here..

However I do think that cops who see a guy in the wrong place..at the wrong time..usually think that your up to no good..and I dont think that a LEO would waste two hours grilling someone who had a knife pulled on them and sought them out..

so ..lets start over ok

I guess really if you look at the underlying tone of my post you will pick up the notion that I am just a little frustrated...the authorities make it harder and harder for genuine knife collectors to enjoy their hobbies by banning all the good stuff..(fair enough though the good stuff is designed to kill)..but any old bum can get their hands on a manual folder and abuse the privlige of owning a great tool....the police in this case could have easily aprehended the colprit but the law has clauses in wich police officers must abide....the law is old and needs to be updated....instead of the government taking away all of our knife posessing rights they should focus on opening up more mental hospitals (or start giving out free cigarettes)....I could never stab a person allthough the whole thing left a bitter taste in my mouth....and I can see how a less rational person might conclude that cutting someones nose off in that situation might be more provailing for the frustrations of having to be thankfull you got away (this time) and cop it sweet might overwhelm clear judgment.

I was just saying that "I might as well stab the guy" if thats the sort of protection that our public servents provide us.

it took me 6 months to get the paper work together for the approval to own sring loaded weapons (I live in Australia) but this guy could have used a screw driver if he wanted...."WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE"????

YES I DO KNOW THAT I SAID THAT I NOW CARRY A KNIFE....but lets just say that I learned something from that night..."show someone a shiney blade  and watch em do an olyimpic athlete sprinter impersonation"

More than likely they wont run like an olympic athlete sprinter..they will put a hole in your head with a nine mm. Here is a true story..a former teacher of mine daughter was walking out of a walmart when someone grabbed her purse. she fought and held onto the purse and the assailant shot her once in the head killing her instantly. Now the family is left to greave this meaninless murder. If you think showing someone a blade is going to deter them your nuts pal, you are going to get yourself killed. Waving around knives is best left at knife shows...

and I still think your story is in fantasyland..

nah its a water tight story....happened a couple of years ago.....but you seem like the type of person that walks up to 10 acres of greeny hills with one cow in the middle and all you can see is the cow :)

Cast the line................................(o)......................................................................................reel in the bait................................................................................feel the tug...........................................yank for all yer worth,.............................. ya got one...........>troll.

If they pull a knife. Dont stab em, slice their femural of brachial arteries. easier to defend in court. "He had a knife, I pulled my knife, we rassled, I cut him the leg, er I think,or was it the arm, and now the guy is dead, I feel so horrible, how can I live with my self, Boo Hoo and such, I was so scared." ;)

No way! And risk catching hepatitis or HIV! That's why I use throwing knives. I train to throw far enough away so that the blood of my enemy won't splatter on me. :)

Probably done to death but here it goes :p :

That's why you need those blood grooves to control the spray of the bodily fluids.....

That's the post that made me crack up. I was holding it in. Anyone who comes in here swearing and asking about stilettoes and stabbing people...

At least he doesn't seem to be another 12 year troll...

When I was younger, yes I did handle things in a different way. Yes, I have had a knife pulled on me with intention to use and not intimidate, in my earlier years. I handled it, but did not run away. Now, he had better know what he’s doing or the only thing holding up his head will be his spinal cord. No, I won’t be hanging around to tell the authorities how he did anything. They’ll have to find me with all the expertise they use to find the bad guy’s, which is next to none.

stop calling me a troll you're hurting my feelings

anyway back to my point...knives are viewed as dangerous weapons wich they are if used in inproper manner, but would we have as much problems with knife related violence on our streets if people were more persued and rigorously punished for inapropiate behaviour other than placing bans on edged tools....most people who answered this question said they would harm someone if they could get away with it and are willing to risk the conciquences.....and admitidly I sure as hell decided that it may be a safer option to carry a weapon for self defence......proving an ever growing need for people to protect themselves....the laws dont seem to be working.

If some jackasss pulled out a knife and threated to kill me, you can bet the farm that I'd shoot him full of holes with my 10mm Glock, then stab him in the neck a few times when my 16-shot pistol ran dry.:D.
