Trade for bayonet of equal value.
It is a flying/winged skull dagger. The skull head sits on display stand that is skeleton legs. New in Box.

Yes I am serious. It just sits in the box.
As far as opening bottles, I suppose you could if you wanted to, but I would not reccomend it because the skull wings are only resin whatever it is.. If it was wood, then maybe, but this is for display only :D But the blade itself is pretty sturdy, just not so functional because of the skull wings.

It would be hard to find such a bayonet.

Not necessarily. There are several types, variations, models, & rarities. More commonly found ones carry a lower premium, then there's condition factor which lowers the premium & then one can get into intrinsic value. To myself, intrinsic value may be placed higher on a piece because I am a collector, whereas someone that has no interest, nor any emotional attachment to a picece, would put lower intrinsic value.

At any rate, I have other pieces & everything is negotiable, such as trade + cash, or trade multiple items for such & such, etc, etc, etc...

So true, so very true.

and just to think that someone 'designed' this remarkable piece,
(hmmm, maybe it was a committee...)

The girl sure was in her's

Seriously dude, you should try to sell this on ebay instead of here. (that was my 1300th post :D)

I did & there were no bids & since I would have used the money to buy bayonets or other knives anyway, i figured I'd try to trade instead, but do have it listed for sale on my own website.. Maybe I should relist it on ebay & see what happens.

lol @ what period it's from... It's from 2005

It looks like it should have a string attached to the back of the skull that make the wings flap.
