Thanks again guys for the compliments about my wife. She just read SV's posts and thinks they are a "hoot":D [especially the one where he asks to be deactivated, because he does not have the willpower to stop coming to BFC. I must agree with her on that one!!!!!]

I don't know whether it is the growth that has occured recently, or you taking the reins, but BFC has been on a downhill ride. BFC used to be the premire knife forum on the web, now it pretty much sucks.

Your typical answer is: If you don't like it go away.

That is pretty simplistic, its not just you that worked hard to build this forum, it was the membership. Without the membership, this forum isn't worth a thing.

It seems that the only poeple that get banned, get banned for insulting you personally (i.e. calling you a jackbooted thug), or for comercial spamming (which cuts into your pocketbook). Your whole gold membership deal is bullshit, I'd never pay to be a member here.

It seems that with the passing of James Mattis, this place went to hell. There is no longer a sense of community, there is no kindness, it is no longer about sharing a passion and information.

I know my opinion doesn't mean squat to you, but thought I'd tell you anyways.

I know that your job is not an easy one, I wish the wisdom to make the right choices.

OK, my dumbass just noticed that the thread was moved to GB&U, not W&C, so I withdraw that part of my critisism.

Any other complaints, Chad? I notice that you aren't offering any solutions. And you'll notice it takes a lot more than insulting me to ban someone. Seems that we ban the defrauders, insulters, etc all the time, but I guess you must know more than I do about how this site is run.

Think about it - are you part of the solution, or part of the problem?

You want to discuss site policies, do so in the Service & Support forum. This thread is now closed - nothing further productive is coming.
