I have two striders (SMF & SMF XL) and two Hinderer XM-24s (flipper and non-flipper). I love them all, but when you hold the Hinderers you really get the feeling that they are superior knives with no flaws (except maybe the detent). For me Hinderers set the bar for all folders. The best pricing I have found is on the forums, but you might have to wait awhile, and you won't always get the specific combination of scales and finish that you want.

As many do on this Forum, have lots of "toys". Guns, knives, Flashlights. etc.
Bottom line for me is - What do I grab in my OMG bag if I have 10 minutes to the zombie apocolypse.
- Knife: Hinderer XM-18 flipper (24 if I had one)
- Zombie Killer: Hk Mp-5
- Sidearm: Glock (probably the 19 because of ammo common to Hk)
- Flashlight: Surefire
There are other things going in the bag BUT as far as my knife, it's the Hinderer w/o a doubt.
