"............than to be unprepared if/when the defecation hits the oscillation."
Great phrase, KD!
Like everyone else, I, too, have been afflicted. I now own knives I never heard of before.
Before this site, Bark River was a waterway downstream of a logging operation, and a R.A.T. was either a Canadian politician or my buddy, Pierre.
A Fiddleback was something you checked under the seat of an outhouse for, and a Koyote, ..well, who likes cats anyway?
B. Goode, now that's something I'm familiar with - a strategem prepared by my parents, many years ago, that didn't work any better than my pronouncement about not buying any more knives

. (Have you seen my new Spyderco Manix

)
I guess it all boils down to the quote, "If a man is talking in the woods and there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"
............oh, wait a minute, that's the wrong one. Here you go -
"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference. "
In other words, there's no hope!
BTW, the previous references to knife makers is made in good fun, and is not a critique of them or their products in any way - Doc
