Y'all carry more than one knife?

Most days, I am in the city/suburbs. I always have a Vic Rambler on my keychain. Had been also carrying a Vic Cadet, but lately a Case jr scout, because I like traditional slippies too. Then, might carry a Vic Classic to giveaway or "hard use" knife - stockman type slippie or something. If I am going to be outdoors, will change a bit - fixed blade and Vic Farmer perhaps. I'm sure for most things any one would be fine, but I like 'em too much to just have one. Overkill I know, but oh well.... :o

I have actually been cutting down lately and finding it quite refreshing. I was carrying the following:

Left Front - Clipped of some sort
Right Front - Slippie
Right Rear - Leatherman Skeletool but now a Crunch
Left Rear - SAK Farmer
Left Leg - Izula

I have cut back to a slippie and my leatherman. I was shocked at how much weight I was carrying. I had a mantra on carrying all of them because they all had their own jobs, but heck I have been only carrying a Case Stockman or Soddie in my right front and my Crunch in my right rear. I would love to have a nice pouch for the leatherman though. Its amazing how often my EDC changes.

Usually always have my SAK mini champ for small jobs since it has so many good tools. I also always have a second knife for a little bit larger blade. Usually something like a medium stockman or whittler. If I may run into a need for a larger blade I'll throw a Spyderco on my belt, usually only have the third knife on the weekends.

I have 3 that I keep on my counter and use regularly. From biggest to smallest they are a SOG X-42 one-hand opener with tanto blade in BG-42, a Queen #06L locking teardrop in D2, and a Case Texas Jack in CV. I always carry at least one, sometimes 2, and occasionally all 3. Depends on where I'm going and what I'm wearing.

When deer hunting, I carry a larger folder plus at least one and sometimes two fixed blades and a folding saw.

Just one, as a rule. Although if I'm out on the ranch, I carry a fixed blade for rough work, and when I walk the dog at night I carry a Benchmade 710D2, just because.

depending on whether I'm at work (then I carry 1), or at home, then I carry 2, sometimes 3 depending on my mood!!:p

I almost always carry just one knife, my EDC flavor of the month. These days I've been toting my Vic SAK Tourist (an 84mm Spartan) only ...

However, when I'm carrying a pocketknife without any tools - like my yella CV trapper or Schrade 33OT or Buck 303 or Opinel - I'll sometimes drop my Leatherman Micra into a pocket as well so as to have a few tools at hand. It seems like, with three little ones in the house, I'm always fixing someone's robot, changing batteries in a toy dog, etc. This may change when the Screwpop keychain gadget that I ordered arrives.

One would do me, but I almost always have 3 on me for some reason:o

I keep about 15 on my dresser drawer, and have to decide each day which ones it will be that day. Usually its a slipjoint in my left, a clipped knife in my right pocket, and a Neck knife. I carry a fixed blade at times, and always when in woods or fishing.

Well I'm have to post bad news. At my new job (security guard at a coal mine) I'm not allowed to carry any knife at all. So I've been sneaking my skeletool in because that blade is pretty much hide in the handle. I pretend she's only pliers and a screw driver. :D Now when I'm off work you never know what or how many will be on my person. I've seen myself carry 6 slippies at one time. :D Not very lady like is it? Don't mess with a woman and her knives because the fight will be on. :D

You gotta be kidding us?

I would think that every employee at a mining operation would be REQUIRED to carry a knife of some sort.

They don't even trust their security with pocket knives?

Sad sad world.

It is very sad how much the world had changed. I wish I could have seen some of past times. My company claims its for my safety.meaning someone could take it off my person and use it on me. Makes sense but still hate being without my knife.

Yesterday my carry was:

Opninel 4 front pocket
Vic Classic coin pocket
Vic Soldier (old school) left back pocket.

Planning to leave it at the Soldier today and for a while coming.
Just like before my whole knife crazyness began.
Just to give me a bit more piece of mind.
After all you don't need anymore than a Victorinox Soldier.
You can go to war with that knife

Always at least two. Usually a Buck Stockman in my left pocket and a Benchmade folder in my back right. There my be others such as a fixed blade on my belt depending.

I have a Schrade 34OT and a Kershaw S60 Blur on me today. That's about my standard work setup.

I generally have two knives on me.
One is a slipjoint, which I use for food prep, small cutting, pulling out in front of people who may be freaked out by "tactical" knives.
The other is a one-hand-opening, locking folder, usually a Benchmade or a Spyderco. These get used more frequently, especially at work, since I'm accustomed to being able to reach for, deploy, use, and stow my knife rapidly and with one hand.
Edit: if I'm out in the woods, I'll also have a fixed blade, probably a BRKT.

I have started carrying two slippies.
One for food and one for general cutting

For food I use a Canal Street 1/2 Moon single blade trapper.
It is so slim that it takes no space when it sits vertical in Ron's Back Pocket sheath.
At 3 3/4 it has the same blade lenght as a Case slimline trapper

For general cutting it is most often a 3 1/4" or 3 1/2" stockman in a leather belt pouch
