Just watched Olympus Has Fallen. Not terrible I guess. I'm rather curious why CGI in movies still looks so cartoon-ish.

Nothing to do but fix it and move to the next. Cant complain too much cause at least I am fortunate enough to have a roof over my head, running water, and AC.

Just a pet peeve (one of many), but WHY OH WHY do people say HOT water heater???? It's a water heater. It makes water hot. If you already have HOT water, you don't need to make it hot. All you can do is maker it HOTTER. So you would then need to call it a HOTTER WATER MAKER. :D:D:D

I mean technically the water does go from cold/normal?/whatever to hot to potentially hotter, therefore making it a water heater/hot water heater... Just depends... :D LOL

But yes, from this point on I will to refer to it as my HOTTER WATER MAKER!!!
 
Somebody complaining about hot water heater?

You guys, its June in Louisiana and I'm rolling around with my heater on in Nissan because my engines been getting to hot. Try that. It sucks

The lips don't quite move naturally and the inside of the mouth is just a black void but otherwise it's pretty hard to tell that's not real. If the talking and water marks weren't there I wouldn't realize it was CGI, though I would wonder why I'm watching video of some dude staring blankly. That's way better than what most movies have.

If they had cast Bruce Willis they could have called it that. That's what happened with Live Free or Die Hard, wasn't originally a Die Hard movie but they cast Bruce and tweaked the script and then dropped a big steamer on the rest of the series.

The easiest way for me to tell it wasn't real, is that most people when you remove their head from their body they die. If you notice the first part of the video it stops at the base of the neck.

I think everyone that is planning on going to Ethan's Fall gathering needs to practice the dance so when we are all together we can record it... Imagine this motley crue of crud doing the dance while indulging in liquid libations!

As a teenager I had an old Ford truck that only had a heater that only worked sometimes but never when it was cold... It also was missing the passenger/drivers side windows... had a bad snow/ice storm one season and had to carry a tarp around that I could throw over the frozen seat to drive. Also no windshield wipers. got about 7 mpgs maybe... Loved that thing... My next truck (nissan) the engine blew up on the interstate. Fun times, I understand your pain LOL
 
I'm trying to avoid going to the mechanic as well.

Also lightning struck my dad's house grids morning and blew out all his electronics that were already ina surge protected power strip.

Anybody know of a good surge protector that actually works or do I need to make my own like my grandfather did? Man that would shock you of you touched with the power on lol.

Also. There's a roach in my room. He dab passed my bed and to a place where I can't get him. I have a fear of roaches but am tried and almost don't care. But I do care, I care a lot
