If you are wanting to make your own but don't necessarily want to make your own micarta there are places online where you can order the micarta and shape it yourself... for a VERY reasonable amount of money.So I was looking around for some micarta scales for the the ZT 0550 andddd the average price was 65+.
I'm thinking about making my own with Card stock with some neat colors.
Am thinking of light green, dark blue, and light blue alternating in layers.
If it turns out good I'll make some for the Beckers possibly lol.

scuff all the card stock with 120 grit.
coat one sheet with a thin layer of epoxy, lay the next sheet on top & squeeze out the air bubbles - just like you would with a cell phone screen protector, repeat.
