that IS drink worthy. only temporary for me...
what bladite fails to mention is that the last 15 miles into and the first 15 out of Boston take an hour each way plus the REST of the drive....audio book time!

yeah, you ain't kidding.

He didn't fail to mention it. He is smarter than that, train station is 10 miles from his house, so 10 mile drive, 50 mile nap! Coming and going!

I work 5 miles from home :D I love it!

This summer since my wife is on maternity leave I was thinking about starting to ride my bicycle. I just don't think my co-workers would love me stinking up the office after getting all sweaty getting to work heh :/

On my last job, i use to drive 77 miles to work... One way.... And I was driving an old V8 4.7L jeep grand Cherokee. Costing me almost 20 a day in gas alone. I made pretty decent money then so i didnt mind. Then I asked to be transferred to Abilene TX to work in a warehouse where i was in charge of all the shipping and receiving. Best job i ever had and the most money i ever made. Man i miss that job, i moved to Abilene and lived 5 minutes from the warehouse. I was on call almost 24 hours a day, with only 1 weekend a month sometimes that i was free to really have fun and get drunk... But it was worth it, if i got called while i was off the clock, even if it was 30 minutes after i left work for the day, i was paid a minimum of 4 hours overtime for each call out... Which most the time took me 30 minutes or less, just grab a part and hand it off, but sometimes i would have to drive a couple hours to actually deliver it as well, but that was rare.

Another time years before that when i was just out of high school i was driving around 80 miles one way..... but I had a nice company truck to use for that job. Which insisted on me sitting on my butt all day calling in jobs, issuing purchase orders and directing people where to go to work in the morning. Most boring job of my entire life. At least when i ran the warehouse i was on a forklift a lot of the day rearranging, pulling parts to ship and stocking new inventory.

I miss working.

Was talking with my father a little bit ago, He just got himself a 3rd workshop. He does a lot of wood working, makes intarsia, makes his own arrows, and just makes lots of stuff LMAO but i told him once i get down there ill be spending a bunch of time in his workshops. The land im buying is just a couple miles from his property, so until i get my own workshop ill just go bum dad's tools HAHA. He has a grinder, couple band saws, drill presses, table saws, routers and stuff i dont even know what he uses it for LMAO... But he has plenty to keep me busy anyways.

Sounds like a good plan woody

I think so bud!! Might be able to find something im half decent at and make a little money on the side. My father use to sell some of his stuff at art shows and to people he worked with and stuff, i sold an intarsia piece i made when i was 14 or 15, i enjoyed making it too. Just been YEARS since i worked with wood. Now that im so into knives i can play around making a couple of them too, but just for fun. Id have better luck selling stuff made from wood down there than knives for sure. I was using band saws, belt sanders, and drills since before i was a teenager... Never had any use for a grinder back then so i never used one. But now i have a need and a want HAHA

Wife is making up some ribs, rice and beans, corn on the cob and biscuits. Plus she is cutting up a pineapple, a watermelon and has mangoes, blueberries, and strawberries on the table.

YUMMY !!!!

Putting the ribs on now?! They won't be ready till like 2100! That is an awfully late time to eat...

I'd love to get a real belt grinder not the little harbor freight piece I rescued from my brother's garage. However I do have a NICE drill press that I got when my grandpa passed. I've got a decent chop saw as well, that was actually my purchase. I need to get a band saw as well.

They were put on at 2 and will be pulled off by 5.

Even thats longer than i would of spent on them. Id have loaded up with charcoal and burnt the outsides on each side for 20 minutes or so and then chowed down LMAO

Slow cooking is better... But aint nobody got time for that :D

In a hammock with a rum and coke. Yay tapatalk! Goodbye afternoon, hello rum!

Usually when I am making ribs they will go on at 10 and be pulled off at 6. I only make them when at my brother's house though cause he has an actual smoker and I don't, I have a grill.

I'm sitting here with papa, he was having a bad day so I am taking care of him.

And I just got post-blocked by the forum... Have to wait 13 seconds.

You know, I'm sitting here watching TV with papa, and there are these commercials that are pissing me off... Every commercial seems to portray the dad as this bumbling retard that isn't capable of doing anything without the wife being there holding his hand every step of the way.

You need a hammock + drink of your choice x2 (one for ya pops).

Commercials are based on the general masses. "real men" are exempt from this. Real men include most of the general population who carry knives and know how to do stuff without getting our hands held ;)
