I just caught a Fawn! It was about 4 days old at the most, Mommy wasn't to happy! :D Very cute little critter.....

that BG parang is actually quite nice. At the boxing boot camp I go to, my coach has one to open coconuts and he asked me if I could sharpen it. Took it home and brought the hollow grind to flat with no secondary bevel and went to my fence to hack at vines. Got some rolls and dings but nothing serious (considering I was beating on that thing like it was not mine :D), flattened again and put a low angle secondary that should hold for a while, as it's main purpose is cracking coconuts. When I took it back to coach he went bonkers over it. I might have to get one of those, even if it has "BG" on it.

And yeah, Gerber multitools rock! I have had one issued to me at work and it's seen some pretty hard use, even missing one of the main rivets - gone while prying and breaking a metal security bolt in a container - it's still in good working condition.
 
Just bought the ZT 0550! :D!
And becareful kid, doe's are especially protective and a hoof traveling at 80mph to your jaw isn't nice.

One summer a couple years ago, I worked for a forester. Several times we walked up on them fawns no bigger than beagle dogs. They are fun to watch, but we were always worried about getting trampled.:D

Last week while mowing the yard, a buck in velvet came out of the woods and started munchin' on some clover at one of the field edges. He was fun to watch too, but the only thing I could think about was how he was giving me a perfect broadside shot and he was well within range. :D

I think it is about time to put up the trail camera.

Soooo I just resharpened my BK9 and SOG Trident and holy crap, my SOG barely makes any noise cutting paper, and the BK9 CAN feather hair.
These belts are top notch for a great price.
 
I have one of them BG compact parangs. Handle is way too thin so I wrapped the handle with 550 cord. Took it camping and wasn't terribly impressed. I'm waiting for the condor econoparang.
 
Well, we just pulled into Lexington. Gonna stay with some friends tonight. Getting up early tomorrow for the final drive home. Aside from some minor setbacks with the dogs, we thought Blade was a blast.

Condor surprisingly makes decent blades for the price.

Thanks zuluninja. And yes bigghoss, I also wish it was a scandi as well, maybe I'll get another Mora...love my scandi knives as much maybe as my Beckers.
