Dave's not here! (cheech & chong)

I was gonna say it was Labrador.

Keeping things yellow. Remember those wise words from Frank Zappa. "Watch out where the huskies go. Don't you eat that yellow snow." That kind of cuts to the heart of it so we come back to yellow and cutting related. Please though, no pictures of yellow snow.

hahahahahahahaha
You're joking, right?

Nice knives everybody! I'm looking to pick up a MooreMaker stockman in yellow soon... Can't wait!

Here's a little, 3 5/16", bird's eye stockman from the Schrade Cut. Co. days! Maybe before most of us were born!

Unfortunately someone "cleaned" it; fortunately, left most lines, swedges etc.

Here's mine,a Moore Maker,1095,with a custom 1500 grit polish blade job.
The two small blades, got the patina, from strawberries,a lot of 'em.
I figure,if I make onion soup, and peel the onions, with the clip blade,I can get it evened up.

Not a dog's business, but a rare, left hand nail nick Keen Kutter Harness Jack (what else from HJ Charlie?)! This one gets its fine amber handle color from celluloid, as opposed to delrin, so has a nice glow, like snow in the sunshine!;)

Wow! I guess there just aren't too many traditional knife afficianados out there who don't like and have yellow handled knives. It's been a real pleasure seeing them all. And leave it to Charlie to show up with a yellow handled harness jack. Celluloid at that!

i too have a love for the yellow knives...weird,,what is an entry level,,cheaper user to some,,,looks hot to me,,, to me id rather have a yellow moore maker than almost any other slip joint...

awesome pics, and my favorite thread in a while!

I think "serious user" is a more appropriate term for most yellows. I agree some people turn their noses up at them; at one time I did too! Until I started carrying a yellow sodbuster!! Then I found out what I was missing! Now I relate yellow to functional, and that is a characteristic a knife must have. They've become beautiful in my eyes too!

Can't wait for my yellow, smooth bone, jumbo stockman (moore maker) to arrive; maybe it'll get here today!

Quick, stomp on it before it multiplies!!

Not sure if this thread is just for slip joints, but I did see a Salt 1 earlier. So here's mine:
