Yellow Handled Knife pics - show em!

attachment.php

I have seen that knife in person at a fantasy knife store in the mall. It is very ugly and damn near useless as a knife. :barf: :barf:

Actually it's waved AT!!!
as in, Bye Bye!!
Sorry, couldn't resist. What does waved mean?? That is not a traditional knife term that I know of.

Here's an older Schrade (SCHRADE WALDEN '46-'73) I just got in the mail, and a Queen D2 soddie I just got back from the guy who invented the edge-pro sharpening system. I was complaining that I couldn't get it to sharpen my knife as well as I could by hand (darn new fangled gadgets). He kindly gave me a few tips, then told me to send him the knife. Just got it back, and WOW what an edge!! The back of my hairy paw is now bald!!

he, he, he, haw!.. :D :D :D That was the best one from you in a while!.. Thanks for the LOL on a Friday night out here in the swamp..:)

You're a good sport to come over to Traditionals and risk being teased, ignoramus!! Thanks for educating me on the meaning of "wave". I see now it's like the modern version of the "one-armed man" knife, which you could open against your jeans, or a pocket.
If I understand right, it hooks your pocket as you pull it out, and flicks open, enhancing your "quick draw"!
And I can see if you don't practice, instead of stickin' them, you can scare them off by bleeding all over them!! The knife version of shooting yourself in the foot!!
All very interesting, but those knives don't stir my soul. Now a slim, redbone Case XX Canoe in my pocket makes me feel so cool, I could convince some miscreant to turn himself in, instead of doin' me harm. Try slip-joint knives, you'll like 'em!! ;)

I have to live up to my name or I am nothing!

Haven't done that yet, but I'm working on it.

Actually, just a few days ago, I was looking at a redbone Case knife and for the first time since I was 8, I thought it looked pretty cool :).

Thanks, 13.45!
We need more yellow knives here, boys and girls!! If you got 'em, post 'em!! It's what makes this forum tick!!!!!!!!

Waynorth - I have a couple yellow handled Eye Brand knives, but I'm not up to speed on posting them. Send me your email address again, and I'll send you the pictures to post.

Just got a really nice one, a Jumbo Stockman in smooth yellow bone from Moore Maker. It finally came in the mail today, after a long wait (and apparently a mix-up between the seller and his distributor). Here are pictures from the seller... it'll have to do until I can take one myself.

This thing is a monster! It measures nearly 4.5 inches, with a master blade coming in at 3.25". Absolutely gorgeous, too. The bone is flawless, with excellent color, and the fit & finish are superb.

Very nice indeed...Watch out every time I pull out a moore maker I wind up bleeding, these baby's hold an incredible edge...

SOOOO, knifeaholic; you're saying. . . . you like those big stockmen?????:D
I like 'em too, actually, but sometimes they're a little big to carry!

Great knife!! I wonder who made it for MM? Queen, or Camillus??

Queen made this one; they make all of MM's bone handled knives. Camillus makes the delrin.
If I remember correctly, the buffalo horn knives are also Camillus, while the stag & bonestag are also Queen.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, please. :)
