Yellow Handled Knives

I always liked the yellow covers on this Ka-bar Dogs Head.

Black Mamba -

I have that Rough Rider with thumb hole (in jigged bone). Thought it would be a neat OHO. It certainly is not! I can't find any way to open it one handed. So it's just another one for the collection of non-users. Is the third knife in the first pic a RR? Is so, what model? Looks really nice.

Edit - I found it. Dog leg stockman. Seems it's only available in yellow composition. I prefer jigged bone, but may have to make an exception :-)

Yeah, Rich, all four of those are the same model, one of my faves. I had all the different handle options at one time, but let a couple go. I think I still have the yellow and one of the bones. It's a great little pattern (3⅜" closed length).

Does anyone produce a yellow bone knife besides GEC and their Rose of Texas issues? Is Delrin a hard use material and does it age well?

The irony is that Delrin, which is one of the cheapest handle materials they make, is also one of the most durable.

Looks pretty nice Tom !!!!
I like the blade selections and the slanted bolsters on that .
The fact that it is a Yellow Rose is kind of special .

Thanks my friend. I agree about those bolsters. I had the pick of the yellow handled GEC collection that went up got sale here recently, and that's what called to me. It's good sized and has some heft too. Interestingly the Wharnie has a bit of a stop in that exact position, as if it's meant to go there after the clip is aligned with the bolster threading as in the pic.
