Yet Another 1,000 Post Giveaway

Thanks for your generosity.

What I've learned? That a knife can be a valuable tool even if it isn't "tacticlol". Seriously, I've learned a lot about what to look for/what not to look for in a knife before I buy.

I'm in! Something I learned from BF:

What the following mean: edc iwb SAK nib lnib conus scandi 110 1095 millie RIL tip up/down mark pile and on and on

Thanks so much for such a great giveaway.

A lesson I learned from Bladeforums is to undersell. When trading or dealing with people don't underaggerate any flaw on the sale item. People will be happier and have more confidence in you if you are very forward about any issue, and stand behind what you do. Honesty and openess.

Thank you for the chance! I've learned that the people who love knives can be as varied and interesting as the tools they use.

Loving the giveaways! Thanks for the chance. I've learned that as soon as I think I know everything about knives, I am proved to be very very ignorant. The combined knowledge found here on bf is immense and should ALWAYS be consulted prior to any knife decision :P

I'm in, Thanks Brets!

My opinion? I think everyone here should be a gold member. $25 bucks is really, IMO, a small price to pay for this excellent resource. I think knives is just a small part of it too. Yeah, it's a knife forum, but there's so much other good information that gets passed around too. Only 7 cents/day :D

I've learned that I can never have enough knives ever.My collection has grown 3 times because of BF.

I'm in. I've learned, that as a moderator here, if I don't win the prize, I can ban whoever beat me to it.:D.:D.

I love these contests, thanks!

The most valuable thing I've learned from BladeForums is regarding the value of multi-bevel and convex-sharpened edges. Since learning of these advantages, I find that my blades stay sharper longer and my resharpening tasks are a little bit easier. I still put a mirror polish on the back bevel and edge, because I like the way it looks and feel a smoother back bevel is also beneficial.

I learned what GAWs were LOL, so much sharpening information, I decided that green polishing compound is what I wanted, I learned about a couple knives I have (Mr. Levines section) and a lot more, mainly that there are some knives expensive to ridiculously cheap that I'll be buying in the future.

I have influences from other sites, but the main information I need and want is here.

I learned to buy both.:)
I also learned the name for batonning...before that I just called it "bashing my knife through wood.":D
I'm in. Thanks for the chance.

Thanks for the giveaway.

What have I learned ? NEVER order knives when you're drunk :D

Thanks for the giveaway.

I learned to leave the drinking and posting to the professionals.

Congrats and thanks for the chance! Lesson learned: No matter how "perfect" a knife may seem, there's always going to be another that is "more perfect". ;)
