Yet Another 1,000 Post Giveaway

I'm in, but I have to admit that I already have a Skyline (and I love it for EDC). I used it today to cut a 4"x3" hole in my rain gutter (because I was on the ladder and the other tools I had weren't doing the job) to make a repair before hurricane Irene hits, and it's still shaving sharp; I was certain that it would need a serious sharpening, but it's shaving the hair off my arm!!

Anyway, I've learned that there is no single knife that is perfect for every task. Choose the right knife for the tasks you want/need to accomplish.

I'm in for this one. I have collected and traded and bought and sold knives all of my life. On BF I learned that I can get a good custom knife for about the same price as a good factory knife. I have also learned that I am not the only one who is nuts about knives!

count me in.

i learned from BF that rem oil is good for pivot joints on folding knives.

Lesson I learned from Bladeforums?

Don't be a troll. Respect the mods and people with more knowledge than you do. People are here to help.

Oh, and also, always thank people who give away free stuff :D:thumbup:

Thanks for the opportunity!

The many lessons I have learned here can be distilled down to: the more gimmicks a knife has, the less the manufacturer respects the buying public's intelligence.

Thanks for the generous prize!

im in awesome thanks

ive learned that every one has there opinions and thats okay take it for what it is :D

and the very knowledgeable people on this forum have been so helpful in everything knives!!

Congrats on the 1k. I'm in!

I learned a lot about custom knives. I'm not just stuck to productions anymore!

Im in. The most important info I learned on here are recognizing burrs and rolled edges.

I've learned allot of things, the most important is that knives are the most basic of tools, the tool to make all other tools with. People who are afraid of them should not be looked down, but educated and allowed to make up their own minds. Knives (or basic cutting instruments) are the most important tools of history.

Thanks for the chance,

Jed Campbell

im in

i have learned that my most useful knife is the on that is in my pocket

thanks for the chance

Thanks for the giveaway. I've learned that using knives is far more enjoyable than collecting them.

not to get mad at my girl for going to barnes and nobles cause i buy knives. cause she can really bring up the knife issue.

we both gotta have our hobbies.

thats my lesson learned.

We all have different tastes. Some like expensive blades, others more affordable blades.

Thanks for the chance!

:UPDATE:

Heres the one I will be giving away, sadly the package was crumpled when I recieved it today so both skyline boxes have creases. the pics show the one with the least dama

Thanks for the opportunity. Lesson #1: Don't spend a fortune on your "Grail" if you can't make your student loan payments. Lesson #2: your "Grail" will change the minute it arrives. Count on it. Lesson#3: Hold on to your wallet, It's gonna be a wild ride!

I'm in... Something I have learned from Bladeforums is never to lock your car door, and to never leave anything valuable in said car. Saves you from having to replace broken windows.
