This time, it's me, though. 
Needle biopsy on my thyroid(test that was done a week and a half ago); results came in 5 days ago, but they just let me know today for some reason.
Results show a small mass of cancer cells on the right part of my thyroid. What they're going to do now, is operate and remove the right part of the thyroid, test it immediately, and based upon the results, either stop there(if benign) or remove the rest of the thyroid(if malignant).
Needless to say, I'm a wreck here. Not a lot I can do, except pray and ask for prayers from my friends.
Doctor seemed ok with my not wanting the surgery done until after Blade; he even said it'll probably take a couple weeks for the insurance paperwork to be finalized, etc... So, it looks like sometime middle of June, I'll be having the surgery.
So, I'm going to do my damnest to NOT let this get me down; certainly not around all my friends.
