Just came across the Spyderco Serrata... has anyone else seen this before?

I'm intrigued but there's not a ton of info out there on it. Really like the lines on the knife, maybe thicker than I wish it was, though hard to tell from just pictures.

Just get Dex to mod you a 16.

Any opinions of Grey Ghost Gear, more specifically, the lightweight assault pack here? It looks like an interesting, yet small and simple pack. I have a NF pack about the size, but I like how the front pocket looks in the GGG pack.

Im disturbed.

You sure are. Admitting you have a problem is the first step...

:D

Well yeah, there's that. But gosh darn shucks and shivers, they just look so dadgum handy.

They do indeed. I'm thinking take out that goofy stub handle, drill the socket for a couple small bolts (if it isn't already), and carve a nice fullsize hardwood walking stick that fits the socket and is drilled appropriately. Protect the end of the walking stick with a rubber crutch tip when not using the shovel. Walking stick all the time, shovel head in the pack... when the shovel is needed, take off the crutch tip, bolt it all together and whammo! Proper shovel.

It's just you. But whatever floats yer boat, I won't judge.
