You are allowed only one Spyderco knife, which one?

For me, the plain edged Endura is totally indispensable... My first "modern" knife was a full serrated one with a FRN clip and a G2 steel blade. I was buying a few others but never own them for a very long time : I cannot let my close relatives without a good knife !!! ;)

Another vote for the Native in S30V. I love the way I can hold it blade-up in one hand, press the lock release with my thumb, and the back radius on the finger guard will drop against my index finger. Then I just move my finger around to the spine and push the blade to the fully closed position while the "handle" end of the spine rests in my open palm. This knife was well thought out -- if I trip the lock on any of my other lockbacks or framelocks while holding the knife the edge will strike my index finger.

Shalom,
Mark

I love the big steel Endura, cuts like crazy and I love the snap and lockup when I flick it. Stopped doing that cuz someone told me it was bad for the knife, but every now and again, Snakt!!

It would have to be the Calypso Jr, for the cutting ability and light weight.
I would not like to part with my Lil temp, Military, or Dodo. The Para could be in this list also, but I have not had it long enough to get that close to it.

Just got an Impala. It seemed great and I started carrying it when I took it from the box. Proven useful and great in blade shape and ergonomics. I'd have to keep that one.

Well I just won a NIB Delica plain edge vg-10 on fleabay. I ordered a new Navigator(I always regretted giving the other 2 away!) yesterday and have bids on a Calypso jr and a Native s30....I knew I should have never read these posts or handled any Spyders!
guess my Spidy Mouse is going to finally get a break for a while while I fondle the new blades.

Military PE S30V - Great for utility and defense.

I cant beleive noone has mentioned the native yet. That would be my choice if I could only pick one, but I gotta say the cricket is my all time favorite. I love that little blade

My Matriarch - 'cause a boy needs his "Mother"! ;)

(Besides, I'd have a few other NON-Spyderco knives on me for doing "work".)
