But if we only list one spydie, then we offend the others in the collection. Spydies are like a harem, gotta keep em all happy........ :D
 
I've got 3 of them, a Delica, a Native, and a Navigator, and if I could only pick one, I'd say the Native. It's just about as perfect of a medium sized folder as I've ever had. I have yet to find any knife-related task it can't do
 
I completely understand those who cannot make up their minds -- ALL of my Spydies get pocket time.

But if I could have only one, it would be the Persian. IMO it looks great, the ergos are outstanding, and with the stainless/micarta construction I expect it to last a lifetime of regular use.
 
Well, since I can only have one Spyderco knife because of the budget (for the time being anyway).
I chose my first and only Spyderco to be a fixed blade model.
The Moran FB-02.
I gave the Delica strong consideration for my EDC folder but realized that I use the tools on a SAK far too often to go with just a single blade folder, for that reason I went with the Victorinox One Hand Trailmaster.

If I could still have other non spydie knives it would be my Calypso Jr FRN. the perfect pocket knife.

If I could only have one knife, ever, it would be the Temperance (or possibly Perrin)

If I could only have one knife ever, but it needed to be more or less street legal it would be Lil temperance leaf (or possibly Yojimbo when it comes out).

If I was stuck on a desert island with no other tools it would be the Temperance.

If I was being given this artificial choice because I was about to enter the Big Brother House...

The only Spyderco that I will never part with:

The plain-edged, flat-ground, G-10 Police!

IMHO it's the best knife Spyderco has ever made.

Obviously the S30V PE Military. It is perhaps the finest tactical folder ever made.
 
My SE Endura has been with me for over 10 years now. I think if I had to pick only one it would be another Endura, but with a 50/50 blade.

I didn’t guess this, but I don’t know this knife very well. Why do you like it so much ? ;)
 
I've got an ats-34 black coated PE millie and although not my favorite I love I 'cause it's:

-big enough to handle a lot of chores
-light, you hardly feel it in your pocket
-easy to open and a very nice handle
-it can both pierce and slice (good tip and flat ground)

My FRN knives feel weak and insubstantial next to it, and my heavier knives suddenly feel incredibly bulky and awkward. Very nice.
