Of the ones listed, I went with Benchmade. They have the most diverse line up of knives that I like in steels I enjoy using. I'm a fan of the Axis lock too.

My issue with these types of polls is that respondents tend to frame or bend the question, instead of answering it outright. One maker. If you prefer fixed blades from one place and folders from another, then that makes the question and your decision that much tougher and more meaningful. Because you’re supposed to choose 1.

I'd pick spyderco. It's the steel choices and HTs for me. I like performance

I was actually thinking about this a little bit earlier in the week. I'd say, through my experiences, that CRK would be my pick. There are a lot of other great companies, but with CRK I can have a small and large Sebenza/Inkosi/Umnumzaan, plus a big fixed blade like the Pacific, and then also a small EDC type fixed blade. I'd be good to go with those tools in hand plus a hatchet/axe, machete, and a few other hand tools.
