You can only have 1 EDC for the rest of you life, what would it be?

Almost the same pattern for me, but with more tools :D

 Nice knife — what is it?

I don't think I've had enough knives to answer this correctly. But, out of the knives I have owned the 0562CF has to be the one.

I've answered this question before. My EDC is a SWK Explorer. Never leaves my pocket. If I'm going to the woods I add a Spyderco Scheme Rock Salt, the H-1 variety.

I remember years ago now, when I woke from slumber and had this amazing thought "what if I could only have just ONE knife". Slight panic as not knowing what to choose that would cover all bases, pretty sure I made a post about it way back then, probably in the archives now, but found I was not the first to think this thought, it seems most knife folks that are passionate about knives end up giving this some consideration.

BUT over the years, I've never come close to narrowing it down to just one knife and doubt in my remaining few years that I ever will, just a fact of life :)

All that being said, IF by chance I ever lost my SAK executive and pioneer, those would be replaced as quickly as I could order them ;)

It's gotta be my delica I've used it for everything under the sun that a knife could be asked to do and it's taken it with a smile. I have no reason to believe that it won't last the rest of my life.

Many years ago, I tried various knives and finally found one that fit me and did everything I needed it to do. So, for about the last 40 years I have been carrying a Buck model 303 Cadet. On a rare occasion I might carry something else but normally that little Buck is in my pocket.
