You can only pick one knife to carry for the rest of your days here on earth

a 14in fixed blade made of unobtainuim that never dulls and has electronically adjustable weight and gravitational push and pull, its also remote control and can bend 90 degrees without snapping....

Currently, that I own, a 908bk-1501. size, weight, blade steel check. Only complaint would be the possibility of the omega springs breaking which would make me want my Inkosi but Id rather have m4 over s35vn. Give me a flat grind CF Inkosi in M4 though..

*Edit* Though this large Inkosi cf is growing on me. Do wish it deployed more quickly.

it really depends... will there be zombies?

If I grow old and die and nothing more exciting than daily life happens....I'd probably be carrying a spyderco military...

IF there are zombies.... then I want my ZT Rat Bastard!

Also depends on where and what situation.

If I was on a deserted island like in castaway I would need a knife to last thru all sorts of hard use and probably a fixed blade even though I am not a fixed blade guy.

In a dangerous area I would want more of a tactical knife

If in an office in New York a small folder..

If I lived in Brazil or Hawaii I would want a steel that would not rust easy.

Too braod a question for me to answer. But if it was a folder I would want one that has washers and be taken apart and cleaned like Sebenza and not flipper with a bearing system .

As of right now, I'd have to go with my spyderco pm2 in cpm m4 with carbon fiber handles, just a sweet everyday knife. Would it be perfect for every task? No. But it is very capable for normal use, and I think I could make do with it for the rest of my life, if need be.

For the past few months, it's been the only one I've been carrying and I've been doing pretty well with it. Of course, there haven't been many zombie attacks recently..

Even though I would miss my other knives, especially my higher end folders, I would probably be most happy and comfortable in all situations with a Victorinox Alox Pioneer. I carried a version of it (Pioneer X) exclusively for 5 weeks while traveling last summer and while I missed my flashier stuff, I never met a task I couldn't accomplish with the Pioneer. I just have the standard silver version, but if it were to be my last knife ever, I would definitely splurge on one of the fancier versions.

Your premise is invalid. I can own and carry as many knives as I can afford and want. I do so now, and I will continue to do so, for the rest of my days here on earth, and even after that when the mother ship returns to pick me up. Today, it was a Case Peanut in my pocket, and a Benchmade Griptilian in my car.

cut stuff.

Well it may dismay some who know the great low priced knives that I have : Ritter Grip, BM 710 M390 etc

but if I had to carry one for the rest of my days it would probably have to be this Cold Steel (wince) Ti Lite four that I have ground way, way, way thinner or the Case full size Trapper ( stock out of the box perfection ).

The handles are head and shoulders better than all these slab sided, wide and thin, wonders that are all the rage. The Ti Lite wins out over the Trapper simply because it is bigger in every way (except blade thickness)(keepin' that thin FOR SURE !).

They aren't the most fun to fool around with and aren't all best of the best in any way but do they cut stuff ?
O H_ Y A H _D O G G Y !
and in the hand they handle the curves like a Ferrari !

PS :

This Spyderco Endura 4 in ZDP-189 has the potential to give them a run for their money but is still a bit slab sided. For comparison just look at the handle on that Ti Lite . . . rounded and thick . . . UMPH ! UMPH ! LUXURIOUS
The handle on the Endura is very long and I LIKE THAT ! The photo makes it look the same length as the Ti Lite or smaller but it is in fact a bit longer.

Time will tell. The knife is brand new to me and I have not carried it . . . being locked into my one month with the Benchmade 710 in M390. Which is good but I would need to grind the blade much thinner and over haul the pivot and lock to bring the knife into focus. I like the long blade and the sculpted handle of the 710 and steel durability . . . we're pals for sure.

M. Johnwell,

spyderco pm2 in cpm m4

That will probably be my next knife (in natural G10). I was just looking at those earlier tonight and sniffing all around the little signs that say "OUT OF STOCK". Whine . . . whine . . . sniff . . . whine . . . sniff . . . whine.

Yes I like slab sided knives too, ESPECIALLY THE PARA 2

Hawgsnat,

.I'd probably be carrying a spyderco military...

I don't know . . . that military would still be a good argument stuck in a zombie head.

115Italian,

My swedish kitchen knife. Kuhn Rikon
