You can only pick one knife to carry for the rest of your days here on earth

You know, that makes a lot of sense.

It"s not super expensive. It's very easy to open and close and the yellow scales will make it harder to loose when you forget the last place you saw it. All things to consider when you suffer from arthritis and your memory is shot because of old age.

You may have just picked the the perfect geriatric knife.

I hadn't thought of those reasons before lol. Clearly Spyderco has been losing a large number of sales by not marketing to that group of society more thoroughly.

Busse BWM. Large enough for self defense and strong and light enough so it can slice game and chop wood. I don't have my Rockstead yet, so in folders maybe the Hinderer XM non flipper just because it can still slice and baton with the ability to take apart for a deep cleaning.

Spyderco Pacific Salt SE

+1 me too

I remember this riddle....

"....You give your car keys to your best friend, who takes your car and drives the old lady to a hospital. You stay behind with the love of your life...."

and knife, right, if I knew that, do you think I'd be on the forums lol ? :) but for now, my Benchmade Triage and Murray Carter Neck knife...wait, that's two, well, an FF, folder/fixed...

Tough call, if it could only be a pocket knife it woud be my Victorinox Golfer, the old version. If a folder, my Buck Vantage with the older full G-10 scales, if a fixed blade my Jacklore Classic, tapered tang with walnut scales.

a rockstead shun for normal edc use, but if in a survival situation, it would have to be a gtc harpoon bowie with serrated back.

Cold Steel AK-47. Tactical and utility blade that can clip to my pocket. Convenient every day carry for the rest of my life.

Still haven't found one I would pick over the Bowie for the "rest of my days"
