Sorry all, I even read that but it didn't sink in until after I posted,my fault. Correct, I am ineligible for this. Thanks Dave, good creative contest, lots of fun. (I have to go with the Jerkbenza myself, thanks)

If it was FREE I wouldn't be complaining. But he required that we all pay out $10 to become Basic Members, just so we could compete in his contest = to get money from everyone, which is pretty LOW. :thumbdn: All I really gained was some crappy purple font for my username. :thumbdn:

Personally, I felt that Eel's entrees / entries were clever as hell. If he wasn't a basic member at the time they were posted though, then sorry.

Eel, post in the service & support forum and I'll cancel your membership and refund your money
 
Thats pretty big of you Spark.

Obviously Eel read and understood the rules and took the chance. I'd have to refer to him as a poor sportsman personally unless I am missing something. When you consider that Dave allowed us to vote on this contest it seems entirely uncalled for here. It could have been more subjective than it was and Dave could have chosen someone that would not have the popular vote.

ehhh glad to see you're gold status.

barrabas74, I printed out the picture of the knife on my printer, folded it carefully and stuck it in an envelope. Should be going out soon. ;)
