2013 is coming up soon enough for me. I haven't picked up a BK16 yet, and maybe I'll try to hold out until the LE/SE makes its appearance.

A FFG BK16 in CPM 3v... that could be interesting.

A special BK7 wouldn't be bad either, as I don't have one of those either.

i would be interested as long as the price isn't too high. the thing i like about the becker is that it's relatively less expensive and it will take abuse. getting an becker that will break my bank, and set in a display case doesn't make too much sense to me.

well, custom sprint run, in custom metal, likely to be more expensive. i'd guess anywhere from 50-100% more. every extra, different step ads more costs. tumbling. engraving. all that. plus distribution costs (shipping)...

these aren't production 1095cv blades made by the 1000s for lowered costs.

i'm sure they'll be special blades, and will command a special price. for comparison, lookup how much the BK10 special run sold for, and sells for now (in many cases, much more than the original buy in)

just sayin' - they won't be bargain priced

Any guess in price? I don't want them to be insane they should be decent priced since it's a run for blade forums, added the cost of the steel used, subtract the cost of coating add cost of stone washing

Everything for machining is there, so the cost difference is in the steel and finish

So would they start at their high retail price and go up in cost from there or would they start adding to the cost of what you can actually order one for
