Just can't beat a Glock. It's funny, I tried for years to hate Glocks because I'm an old school blue steel and walnut kind of guy. Then I shot one. Now, I have 7 of them.

Have you tried the 3.5lb ghost trigger? It is so smooth and no over travel.

Verrrrry slow.

I'm thinking about getting rid of my S&W M&P 40 beings I don't reload for it. I believe I'll replace it with a 45, which I do reload for. Not sure what 45 I want to replace it with though. I'm halfway thinking a Glock 21 or an XD. I've never shot either, but they feel good in my hand. Any other suggestions?

Go with the XD. I gave the XD 9 and i like it alot better than the Glock. I have over 2k rounds through it and never had any hiccups and there pretty accurate too

To whoever had the chipmunk problem, i may have found your solution:

GSSF FOREVER !!!!

I remember when glock came to the states everyone was a hater of the plastic gun, so in my opinion all the rest are posers for copying them :-)

If you hand feels comfortable for the 21 grip, get a glock hands down, not as tacticool as the xd but leader of the pack nonetheless:-/

Yes, I have tricked out my 34 with just about everything. I used to use it to shoot IDPA matches. It's a sweet gun!

That was me, and I like your solution. I may try this, even if there is no problem anymore!

I think I solved it, though. Rat traps, got her to stop feeding them with her bird feeders, and I believe I convinced her to get a cat.

Im sitting at the dentists with a bunch of screaming little kids. Meanwhile I still have 20 mins till my appointment. Fun.

You could pace around and mumble stuff like, "The only reason you're here is because your parents hate you." At least enjoy their pain!

I'm really curious what kind of distance he got with that rig. I like it.

There are actually videos of that from different angles all over the place. He got some decent travel with it, say 15-20 yards or so. There are others that have done similar traps and got more distance though.

There are lots of Glock torture tests on the Interweb, this is just a representation of them. Sand, talcum powder, water, overnight salt solution, run over by a truck on various surfaces, dragged behind a truck -- even thrown out of a plane! Works fine.

I have a G27 (mini .40) and a G30 (mini .45) as vehicle guns. For big stuff I'm still stuck on 1911s.

Dead moose on the side of the road driving to work this morning. And a small car with no front end and lots of blood. No one in the car when I past it, but it must have been pretty recent when I passed.
