You mean "fark," right?

I used my BK2 to baton some seasoned maple for a fire in the rain yesterday morning. I kind of wished I had my 9, but other than being shorter, the 2 did a great job.

I also took 12 kids out on their first Geocache this weekend, and that was a lot of fun. They ranged in age from 5-12. The 5 year old told me on the hike back, "That was the greatest treasure hunt ever!" I hid an ammo can in the woods, near some bluffs that overlook Lake Michigan. In the ammo can was an assortment of toys for them to choose.

I'd starve.

The hardest part is training the mousey to put his head in the noose...

That was awesome!
clearly Doc Canada has a pre-trained mouse. that made the video for me. :D

the notion of eating mice reminds me of that scene in Never Cry Wolf... (the movie).

making impressionable memories for our upcoming generation.... good on you man, If only there were more people like you will to give of their time..... freely

You know, it's just hard to beat a good old Alice pack with hellcat mods. I've got at least a dozen packs and that Alice pack is my favorite.

Been kinda in a funk lately...I've been going back and forth with a guy who is my company's main competitor. He contacted me about 8 weeks ago to see if I would be interested in jumping ship...As of last night we finally agreed on salary and start date...Looks like I will be the new general manager of our competition starting a week from today...Kinda stoked, took a nice bump in salary...feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders..

Now the only thing that may be better would be some cooler weather to hike in.

Inspiration, this is.

It's a little cooler here today. I'm glad because it's hard on me watching Kay mow in the heat.

Is that the ALICE/MOLLE hybrid modification?

The fastex buckles, a molle belt, molle waistpack or SSC on the bottom. I like the Alice shoulder straps better than the molle ones. They just fit me better. I did add a sternum strap however.

Interesting.... I've been wanting to dust off my old ALICE and pick up a frame for it. Sounds like I need to do some searching later this evening.

No, but that's not a bad idea. I'll post a review of it.

Link when you do!

I've had my latest MAP3500 for a little over a week now, I understated how much I love this pack. It's way bigger than I remember (rarity) and 100% comfy with 40-50lbs.
