Finally got to use my 9 this morning before work. I was at my dads house and he had some wood laying around so I decided to cut some of it up

TO all those having babies, congrats, I hope your children are born health, strong, and with a deep love of knives. :D

Erik, I would love to visit your neck of the woods, but sadly it is going to be awhile before I am able. However, eventually I will be headed home to visit my family in NW OK, so I may have to head up your way during said jaunt whenever it ends up actually happening if the invite is open.

Daizee, if you can juice and drink brussell sprouts, I will give you a dollar. Nothing else added. Say two cups worth.

Wife just made some bourbon marinated pork chops, mashed potatoes, pepper rings, and baby carrots. Should have taken a photo. Damn it was good.

Derek - I have family in NW Oklahoma, too -- and they have an overabundance of prairie dogs.
Once you have an idea of when you'll be out there, let me know and we may be able to meet up out that way. (I'll even bring a spare .22 for you)
If you're driving instead of flying, I can supply a free place to stop over both coming and going if you want/need it. I'm 20 miles N of I-70 and roughly 7-8 hours drive time from Woodward and/or Guymon, depending on where you're headed.

those storms some of you had on the 15th... i had major heat lightning... nice. auspicious? i also close on my house :)

Spent a couple hours at the range with some handguns tonight. It was pretty windy, so I didn't take a rifle, but wouldn't you know that it calmed down once I got out there. Had pretty good time and figured out that I definitely need to spend some more time out there. I even got the gf to come out and shoot the 1911-22 a bit.

It's that the Browning 1911-22? I almost bought one today and hesitated trying to decide if it's as accurate as the Ruger 22/45 and Buckmark.

Sig 1911-22. If I were to do it again I think I'd just buy the Ruger Mark III or something similar. I've only shot three different types of ammo through it, but the accuracy so far hasn't been very great. I might just need more time with it I guess, but I shot my real 45acp 1911 waaaay better than the little 22 today. It does seem to be a decent gun though. I think it had one stovepipe in 200 rounds today which isn't too bad.

I loves my bull barrell Mark II, great gun...

but who am I kidding I love .22 no matter what I'm shooting, honestly have to say its one of, if not my favorite round of all time..

I agree 100%. What's not to like about a .22? Its cheap, its accurate, and well placed will kill anything. (Hunting wise of coarse) who on this forum didn't learn how to shoot without a small caliber shotgun and a .22. That is all! Cheers!

I'm on a 22 kick lately. The handgun is the last piece of that puzzle. Bought, then sold the Kimber 1911 22 and was not a fan. Couldn't find ammo that it liked, and I tried a lot of high end stuff. I think it'll be between the 22/45 and S&W 22a.

When it comes to .22 pistols. I think I've had them all at one point. Except the 1911 style .22. To me that's kinda firearm no no. A 1911 platform was designed for a big bore, and should stay that way. That's just my opinion though. And speakin of my opinion,if your lookin to buy a good .22 pistol you should look into the browning buckmark. That gun is hard to beat in my book.
