I just posted this brassback that I made in the custom and handmade section if anybody wants to check it out. Its the first brassback I've made. But there will be more. It was a challenge, but in a good way.

You keep posting up these images and I'm going to have to get a knife from you soon. That one is a beaut. Great detailing and I like the ref to original classic design with the brass back

Had breakfast next to the guy and his old lady this morning at a Waffle House outside of Nashville. He had on a T-shirt that said AMERICA F%#K YEAH!! and both arms were tatted to look like a spiderman suit.
He bought his wife a dump truck for her birthday. Interesting guy. :D
 
Want to send a huge thank you to RogueBowie for doing me a solid. Sent me some IKEA ustensil holders and I got them today. Going make a little wood stove. I sure appreciate it man.
 
Battle creek, & Balding. Thanks for the praise. But I have mastered nothing. I'm like the kid on the playground that gets his ass kicked everyday, but comes back the next day for more cause he thinks he can do better! Knifemaking is a lot like that for me. I have a "don't like to lose" mentality. I leave the shop a lot of nights frustrated, but I always come back. When I finish a piece like this brassback. It makes it worth it.
 
School starts again tomorrow...Meanwhile im up at 1 AM watching youtube videos contemplating if I should go to sleep. This should be interesting...
