You Name It - You Get It **Winner Selected**

If you'd like a little bit of Asian influence, I'd say it should be called "Kujiratori". I can't stop seeing a whale when I look at the blade and I can't stop seeing a bird when I look at the handle. So, I took the Japanese words for whale ("kujira") and bird ("tori") and mashed them together. I'm no linguist, so I ran a check on that word and it turns out that it is also the name of a short Japanese film and means "whale hunt".

So, I definitely did have fun doing this! Celebratory congratulations to the maker of the knife and to whoever has the privilege of using this fine piece.

"EWE II".........a very beloved band which has a very large and dedicated following which encompasses many decades/age groups and would therefore be an easy and 'snappy' name for most to remember in regards to this style of Steingass knife. Easy to remember and associate with a 'sheepsfoot' style knife.

As usual, beautiful knives and sheaths and an especially nice gesture on your part.

TK,
I have to say I am not normally a huge fan of sheepsfoot style blades but those 2 look fantastic!! I also like the sheaths, a sweet package all together!
Not sure about a name but one comes to mind, Lil' Sheepy

The first thing the blade shape reminded me of was the profile of a nose of a submarine cruising on the surface...the haemon cemented the image :-)

You could call it "The Sub" in tribute to your service in the Navy or alternatively short for "the substitute" knife.

Cheers, Mike
