Thanks! Two things that you may not know, though:

It's discontinued--I bought mine LNIB for $120 although they originally sold for $50.
It doesn't lock--it is similar to a very weak slipjoint. However, the fact that it uses a magnet is pretty cool, and the materials are premium.

Hmmm...well, it may be a collector piece then when I work my way down to it on the list. I would love to get my hands on some more of the rarer discoed Spydies. That Chinook of yours is definitely on the list!

I am having lots of fun pursuing the discontinued Golden Spydercos. The Chinook got me started. I had heard about this legendary "Chinook" knife, and then I saw one in the Exchange! After a little bargaining, it was on it's way to me, and I ended up wanting all of them.

If anyone want's a Leafstorm, KnivesShipFree has 4 of them in stock at $175.

I am currently looking for a Lil' Temeperance, Dodo, Spyker, or ATR...just sayin'...

Really nice collection! Paramilitary 2 and the Manix 2 are on my wishlist for sure.

I went to the Spyderco outlet today. Cool place, lots of knives. I bought a "Spyderpac" to store my growing collection in. I got to handle one of the new FFG Manix 2s! They didn't have a plain edge version so I didn't buy one, but still, I got to see it. Pictures tomorrow.

I won an auction for a CF Dodo. I got it for $180--that is the same as the original selling (not MSRP) price! One more off my want list...and only about 1,000,000 to go...

How do you like it? I feel as though the flipping action leaves a little to be desired, so I traded mine.

Let's trade parents . I am 14 and was avidly collecting until winter came. As for my knives now in about a week I get my sak champion plus back only like 16 more to go.

I'm 14 and been collecting knives for about 2-3 years now. I have all sorts of blades. I have so many, I think I'd have trouble fitting all of them in the picture if I were to take one! I basically get any knife I want. Sometimes I buy them myself, but most of the time my parents buy them for me. I love my knives, if someone were to get a hold of them, I'd go on a killing spree haha. Good thing is, I have my knives locked up nice and tight and have them hidden. I've also got 2 of my nephews into collecting!

Welcome. Personally, I find that I enjoy and appreciate a knife more if I buy it with money that I worked hard to earn. But each to his own.
