  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Yeah, the few I've handled were too. Is this oil better than silicon? It feels to me like the greatest resistance is where the axis lock slides on the rounded part of the blade before it clicks into place. I'm thinking of sending it in to benchmade for a sharpening and tune up. What color are the washers supposed to be? I haven't taken it apart but they look brownish from what I can see.

Here's some pics of the new place we moved to last year.

Spring can't come soon enough!!!!!!!

I received my Adamas today! You guys may not understand why I'm so damned happy, but 9blades will. Whatever, I'm overjoyed! My favorite knife is back in my possession. I started a thread about it in General. Check it out!

I was just asking what knife do any of you reccomend, no specifications, fixed or folding. What knife do you think everyone needs to have. And a bk9 is next on my list.

Spyderco native. Under appreciated edc knife. Great value.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but honestly asking: what are you going to use a bk9 for? I've had big knives and always found that a small axe is better.

Well, folding: Spyderco PM2, Benchmade Griptilian, Kershaw Skyline. Fixed: BK9, BK2, Mora.

I would like to hear the story behind the leek. Also SBK I could not access the link.

My father bought a used CD player/radio receiver. It came in a large, cardboard box. In that box there was also a Citizen solar tech 180 watch. The second hand was jumping even after charging in the sun, and it needed repair. I posted it for trade, and traded for a NIB Kershaw 1660CB. Yay!

Also, what link are you talking about?

Native is high on my "next" list. Uses of a BK9--batoning is one that comes to mind. Also, I fiind that it is more fun to chop with a knife than an axe or hatchet.

Just personal opinion, I guess.

Yeah I respect that. For me personally I would rather have my wetterlings forest axe than a large knife. In any case, big knives are fun!
