Your best machete

Not really surprised that nobody has said Cold Steel yet. I am more of an axe guy but my CS heavy machete worked wonders chopping up a pine tree at the farm that I grew up on. This surprised me as it outperformed all of my other machetes (but handle was too big), with the CS light machete coming in second. I think the results were due to a thinner edge, and more mass and more velocity respectively. I would really like to try out the 2 handed machete but like I said, I have more uses for an axe.

I had a CS Latin 24" in hands in shop, and it felt strange, blade was kinda flapping or how to describe it. I was affrait it would twist on impact unless you cut really perfectly straight into consistent material. Might be very different for the shorter 18" model or the thicker machetes (not sure but likely only kukri machete model, this one got a very high rating on knifetests.com). OTOH I have a scant experience with machetes so this might be just my paranoia.
