Your Carrying Knife

Depending on mood and/or destination:

-Gerber A/F - left front on the belt, horizontally in pouch.
-Stiff KISS - various belt locations, I find the sheath too bulky for neck
-Black Ka-Bar - hiking or camping only (and I still get funny looks), 'cause it's just a little too conspicuous.
-In future, perhaps a half-decent dive knife.

All just for utility purposes - no training for SD uses.

I have added a Commander to my daily carry. I still carry an Endura and a Wenger SAK also.
 
SAK Soldier in left front pocket.
Small Sebenza in right front pocket.
Spyderco Standard serrated in right rear pocket.

After years of thought and experimentation this is the perfect combination….well until the SAK Alox Cadet I ordered today arrives, or the Umfaan that I’ll be ordering soon. THEN I’ll have the perfect combination. Well until……

An old Cold Steel X-large serrated clip-point Voyager (plastic pocket clip),an older Spyderco Endura, and a Frost bone-handled swing-guard lockback (a surprisingly good $7.00 knife)...I guess I officially qualify as "obsolete"-no G-10 scales or titanium liners among these 3 knives (although I do own a Benchmade AFCK..I don't carry it frequently because the steel pocket clip tends to scratch anything I"m clumsy enough to bump into...car doors, furniture, etc.). The 3 knives mentioned above have served me well & I don't see any pressing reason for change just yet. I tend to be rather loyal to faithful friends.

Just a simple 3 3/4" stockman with carbon steel blades.

Old habits die hard, and I have been carrying the same knife for many years. The blades are a little smaller than they use to be and the steel has naturally blued; I wonder if I can still walk straight without this knife in my pocket.

Spy Enduro (not much because my wife likes it)

just waiting for my TOPS WOLF PUP
in very light clothes i ask my wife for "her" CRKT Bearclaw (i bought it for me but she LIKES IT !)

I usually have a CRKT KISS as a money clip and I rotate my large carry knife between the following: BM Mini Reflex (auto), CS Gunsite (small), Kit Carson #4 (small), Kershaw Whirlwind, Al Mar Quicksilver.
 
Schrade tough tool and Schrade Cave Bear.

SAK, of course, and usually something else tucked away: F1, Voyager, Fieldcraft, depending on mood and the occasion.

Small Sabenza in a G2 horiz. sheath on my belt...
and a small wegner clipped to my front right pocket...

Normally I have these knives on my person:-

Gerber Guardian Backup (always),
Spyderco Endura (Plain),
CRKT M16-04,

Other stuff in my motor vehicle and briefcase.

For now, i've got a Spyderco Starmate plain clipped to my right pocket. But i change my daily carry frequently and besides the smate my favorites are

- self made viking-style all-steel knife
- Case Copperlock
- carbon steel Laguiole with horn scales
- SAK champion in leather sheet with Mini Maglite.

My daily carry is: BM 730 in my front right pants pocket, BM 705 in my right rear pants pocket and LM Micra and torquise Photon on my key ring.
