Your Carrying Knife

well lets see.
kershaw whirlwind clipped on my pocket (when im not at school)
tool logic card in wallet-always!!!
leatherman sometimes, usually if i carry it it is in my bag.

Wow! Lot's of great knives. I carry a Crawford titanium Point Guard, Spyderco Carbon Fiber Dragon Fly and a CRKT zytel Mirage Warncliff. In the truck is a SAK Tinker and a CRKT M16 Carson Tanto with aluminum handle.....

Most carried: Large Sebenza, horizontal in a nylon sheath directly behind me. With the pivot to the right, it's very easy to draw (I'm a righty).

Polite functions and travelling: Small Sebenza.

Situations like the above, but where I don't want to worry about my knife: Wenger SAK.

Sometimes for hiking and camping, or events where others are likely to want to borrow my knife: Myerchin B300 folder. Mainly because I don't care if it gets trashed, but it's also solid as a rock, and has a good weight in the blade. I've found that trashing it is not an easy thing to do.

2 to 4 it just depends on the day. Right at the moment 2 a BM 705 and a military 440V.

There is no man worth a leke,
Be he sturdy, be he meke,
But he bear a basilard.

Right now, my brand new Chinook! Just before I got the Chinook it was the Microtech LCC, and before that for a very long time was my BM AFCK. Duty will rotate between these 3. I will never give up the AFCK, one of the best all around designs going.

I have other knives for more specific tasks, but the Chinook, MT LCC and BM AFCK are my main stay.

Win if can, lose if you must but, always cheat.

Benchmade 730, Buck 532-2000, Victorinox Executive (Swiss Army type) on me; a Trace Rinaldi Enigma in my motorcycle jacket (hanging on my desk chair); Spyderco Moran (modified) in my desk drawer.

A man (or woman) can never have too many knives around them.

At work I carry an original leatherman on my hip and in the right front pocket a MOD Hornet. Any other time I have the original leatherman, MT LCC/MA in the right front pocket and a Dozier Toothpick on my belt.

A custom designed "Pitbull" folding fighter by Polkowski. 5" BG42 blade and carbon fiber handle. I carry it in a front pocket kydex holster designed by Al.

I tend to carry my Delica on the inside of my jacket, with the left pants pocket reservd for a small buck Executive. When the jacket comes off, the Delica migrates to the top of my right pocket.

I carry a BM940, 710, 730, or 800 for daily use and I have a Spyderco Remote Release clipped to my turnout coat.

Today:

Small wood Sebenza, right front pocket
Spyderco Q, left front pocket
GT CA Special, right rear pocket
William Henry T10D, inside jacket pocket
Original Leatherman, right hip on belt
Leatherman Micra, belt clip
Yellow Photon, belt clip
Motorola Cell Phone, left hip on belt
PageUSA pager, right hip on belt

Configuration changes relative to most recent purchase, although daily carry is always the Sebenza.

My full-size AFCK is almost always with me, accompanied by an Old-Timer 3-blade (model #?) that has seen better days. Sometimes I carry a mini-AFCK. At work, the AFCK gets replaced by a Spyderco Goddard ltwt.
Yesterday, I got a BM 940 Osborne (blue October 2000 version) that now rides along with the AFCK.
Soon adding a BM 722, MT LCC, and Spyderco Lum Chinese.
Don't know if I could leave home without the AFCK, though.

I'm a firm believer in rotation........

CRK; large plain Sebenza

Microtech; clip point plain edge SOCOM (MA)

Microtech; plain edge Combat Talon II

Microtech; plain edge LCC (manual)

Kershaw; plain edge Random Task

Kershaw; plain edge Boa

A. Elishewitz; Striker

Soon to add to the daily carry line-up:

D. Ralph EDC

Deryk Munroe Chimera Elite

Aren't knives great!
