Your cheapest carry and most expensive carry

My cheapest & most expensive are carried at the same time. An Alox Cadet is always in the left pocket & there's usually a CRK in the right.

Neat thread idea! I'd love to find more sub-$100 knives that really grab me.

Not counting secondary knives, task knives (hiking, etc.), and traditionals that I used to carry but no longer do, mine are:
  • Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter
  • Medford Praetorian Genesis T

Most: Screech Owl Knives Custom Wharniepoon in m390 ($400)
Least: SAK Pioneer ($30ish?)
Least that isn't a SAK: White River Knucklehead ($50ish?)

I carry a Vic Small Tinker every day (~$20). Been carrying the Condor Compact Kephart fixed blade every day for the last couple of months (~$45). Probably going to bring in a couple more small fixed blades for regular carry as I just got a Arno Bernard Squirrel with the intent of carrying it regularly.

If I want to carry a modern, it is usually the Benchmade Mini Presidio II (~$160). That is on the upper end of my folders in terms of cost. Have a TA Davison that I rarely carry. It of coarse was $500+.

Wow that Praetorian is incredibly gorgeous! I absolutely adore it, it's beautiful. What a great knife!

Cheapest knife I have that I actually use is a Gerber moment fixed blade that I got for free with a magazine subscription about 6 years ago. I've seen them for sale for about £10 or not much more. I'd be happy if I paid £10 for it. It hasn't seen an awful lot of use but what I have done with it has been downright abuse to be honest. I have other, better, fixed blade knives. But this is the fixed blade I have carried and used the most since I got it. Because I didn't pay for it I have done things with it I normally wouldn't do with a knife. I misplaced it about 6 months ago and actually found it again today! I'll put it in the pickup or tractor tomorrow and it will get used again whenever I don't want to ruin my folders or multitools. Great little beater I think especially for the money. I know it was free but even if I'd paid for it I'd be pleased.
Most expensive is probably my spyderco tenacious at about £60. I wouldn't buy an expensive knife I'd be too worried about losing it! It gets used every day.
I have multitools that have cost more though.

Cheapest would be either an Ontario RAT 1 or Utilitac 2
Most expensive is a Ranger Made Knives (Bob Ohlemann) Specialist.
