Your favorite knife

Fixed: LiteWave from Neil Blackwood. Why? It's perfect in size to hide, yet be a useful tool or defensive weapon. Sharp as hell too.
Folder: Polaris by Pirela/Elishewitz. Why? It's just plain beautiful piece of work and there are only 10 of them

what I want a hibben highlander bowie

my fav all time fixed an old bayonette that had degraded to a paint stirrer for my grandfather (he made excellent knives my second fave is his cabbage knife )
i got the bayonette when I was 5, 9 in blade 5 in tang and made the edge and false edge scalple sharp (I once cut myself to the bone and never felt it)

y fav folder is my current gerber ez out, it may be cheap (i found it on the bathrom floor of a store) but it sharpens well has a decent lock and work very well.

The folder is easy: my small Sebenza.

The fixed is tougher, but would still currently have to go to my BG-42 Rinaldi TKK. It's my go-to fixed blade for pretty much any task I've needed to accomplish. big jobs would require my INFI Steel Heart. I have a Busse Desert Warfare Mean Street on order, so we'll have to see how things stack up later.

very sharp...for a fixed blade tom mayo drop
point hunter...very sharp...good balance

Folder - Benchmade 710

Fixed - Benchmade Nimravus M2 (Was tied with my Fallkniven A1 and CS Tanto, but removing the finish and scratches from the Nimravus shot it to the top).

I suspect that if asked this same question this time next year I would be answering BM710M2 or small Sebenza for folder and Talonite Simonich Kanji for fixed. I hope so anyways...

Hmmm. I see some laxness here. Rules are rules. Let's not forget the WHY. After all, there must be SOME reason why it's your favorite.
