Folder: large plain Sebenza for the confidence it brings and how it just feels so damn solid in your hand

Fixed blade: my grandfathers pat. pend. Woodcraft (circa 1915) because of the fact that this knife is simply amazing. The thing sharpens so easily and yet takes an edge that brings new meaning to the term "hair-popping" sharp, has endured 85 years of hunting trips and tractor tool boxes. While you can buy a tougher, prettier and more expensive knife, of all my knives present and future, this would definitely be the last one parted with. It just goes to show you that the true value of a knife has nothing to do with who made it or how much it cost!
