It will be a Strider and one of their trainers. Would like to get a Strider MFS or, at least, a Buck Strider Solution in BG42. Strider won out over Becker, Busse, and Swamp Rat this year. Eventually, I will get that custom!
Kershaw Vapor II for me.....fits the budget as I have already spent my knife budget on Benchmade's and Spydie's! But the Vapor is great, especially for the $25 it cost me.
I'm eagerly awaiting release of the CRKT D.O.G. I will be buying that as soon as it's out.
Today when reading the forums I heard people mentioning Delta Z's. I then saw where they are having a year end blowout sale. I couldn't resist (of course) and ordered 3 knives a few minutes ago from http://www.deltaz-knives.com.
I read several posts from people saying they loved their DeltaZ's. We'll see! Still, for around $23 each (list around $90 each) it's a great deal even if they are presents for others! I also shopped several other online stores to check pricing and these are great deals!
The one I really wanted was on sale but not quite enough so I will wait. That one is the DeltaZ Osprey. The one with the Red Maple handle will be mine someday (knowing me... probably soon but trying to hold out for a good sale .
I have a Buck Vanguard R on the way, and a Leatherman Micra on the way for the Wife. If the E-bay god is watching over me then I will have a Buck 119 on the way shortly. In the 2003 I also plan on getting a Howling Rat, BM AFCK, Spydie Perrin Bowie, and perhaps a Polkwoski Companion.
my first of 2003 and also my first real quality knife, is a BM 905 that i odered today from the forums. i canrt wait to get it. hopefully this will start my knife collection
